If you are passionate about film, television, music or digital arts, and are interested in exploring related careers in the entertainment industry, you may be interested in participating in the UT Semester in Los Angeles Program. Students earn UT in-residence credit, and the program is open to all majors.
UT SEMESTER IN LA PROGRAM
COURSES
? New Media and Emerging Entertainment
? How Hollywood Works: The Business of Show Business
? Inside the Music Industry
? The Creative Process of Film and TV
? Careers in Entertainment (fall and spring only)
? Communication Internship in L.A.
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be currently enrolled degree-seeking students in good academic standing who will have:
? Min. 60 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.25 by semester of participation;
? Successfully completed RTF 305 ?Intro to Media Studies,? or equivalent, by the semester of participation.
APPLICATION
Apply for fall 2012, spring 2013 or summer 2013 in February of 2012. Attend an information this fall to plan ahead.
