2167 A.D. That was the year that mankind reached its peak, and fell from that peak. No one is certain who started the final strike but the resulting devastation plunged the world into darkness and decay. While the worst case of global radiation or Nuclear Winter was avoided the world population was still devastated. We know not who started the war, but we do know how long it took.
Three weeks?Twenty one days, that was all the time it took to burn the advanced world mankind had made. And it would take centuries to recover.
The world eventually began to recover, and when civilization was strong enough to being the steady climb to prominence, a climb greatly accelerated with the rediscovery for ?Old Technology?.
Of course mankind, no matter their strength, cannot destroy all things. They had ruined their infrastructure, destroyed their power grid, and lost much of their medical knowledge. Yet as destructive as this was it was not without creation.
The loss of much of the medical treatments that had been used to preserve the sick lead to natural evolution in the truest form, with cancer left to its work it killed even more than it ever had before, yet in time the death rates fell and man became stronger for it. Evolution, something man had preached but made great strides to halt rose from the ashes of the old world? and so rose the Evolved.

So, above is the Introduction to the game, kind of, it's missing a lot because while i have alt of the game fleshed out i need help deciding on many parts of the universe. I can't do it alone so please join in the conversation and share any ideas you have and prep of a ride of a lifetime!
So the game world is set currently at this: Two nations are currently at an unstable state of tense "peace" for lack of a better term. One is home to a large population of regular humans called Naturals, but the nation itself is led by the more powerful Evolved that make up a Leadership Class. The other nation is of purely Naturals who refuse to accept the Evolved, this nation is bound to be the primary aggressor however the Evolved are not sinless by any means.
Several questions bug me about this world and I?d like to look for input on this idea so I?m going to list some questions I?d like for those of you interested to answer, however these are not the only questions, so feel free to ask anything you want to know or make any suggestions at all!
So, questions:
1. We need to determine what kind of world this is, I know Steampunk but one question I have is the military style of the day? I?m thinking either large mobile ground Fortresses that act like land based battleships, or possibly the classic aerial warships that we always see in Steam Punk. I?m not sure here and I want to know your thoughts!
2. So, the next thing is the big one, the Evolved. What are they? Now I know I want several tiers of them, with the basic tier being a first generation Evolved and having increased reflexes, thought processes, or strength. The next few tiers are those with increasing generations of Evolved breeding and they have access to greater abilities. What I don?t know is what kind of abilities those should be and how we should have their mechanics work. So please, please, please give me some food for thought here!
3. What should be the ratio of Evolved characters to Naturals? I?m thinking of requiring those who make an Evolved make a Natural as well but I?m not sure, what do you think?
4. What should be the character age group? This is a small thing that is easily a very big thing, know what I mean?
